Highlights
90 minutes of trails, river crossings and a 100-year-old village in the real Guanacaste.
Leave the paved road behind. The ATV Tour takes you through open farmland, splashes across refreshing river crossings and winds into a village where traditional houses have stood for more than 100 years.
Along the way you stop at one of the first schools in the region, founded in 1854, a small cultural gem that shows where Guanacaste's identity comes from. Adventure, scenery, culture and a genuine slice of Costa Rican life in one ride.

Frequently asked questions
Cancellation policy
Plans change. Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your activity.
Changes or cancellations are not possible inside that 48-hour window.
Do I need ATV experience?
No. The ATVs are automatic and easy to handle. You do need a valid driver's license to drive. Guides give a full briefing and a practice lap first.
Can children come along?
Children from 5 years old can ride as passengers on a double ATV. For younger kids we recommend the UTV Tour, where they sit safely inside the vehicle with a child seat.
How hard is the terrain?
Easy to moderate. It is not technical, which makes it ideal for first-timers, but it is dusty, bumpy and fun.
What if I don't feel comfortable driving?
It rarely happens, but you can hand the handlebars to your companion or ride as a passenger with a guide.
Single or double ATV?
Single ATVs carry one driver. Double ATVs carry a driver plus a passenger and are the best value for couples or a parent with a child.
