Highlights

10 cables, hanging bridges, the Monkey Jump and the Quick Flight through a protected forest. Kids join from age 2.

This is the tour that made Skyline the family zipline of Guanacaste. Ten cables cross a protected dry-tropical forest that shades the Nimboyores aquifer, with platforms built into living trees and a route designed so that grandparents, parents and toddlers can all fly together.

Children from 2 years old do the tour. If a child needs help, a certified guide goes with them along the route. Nobody waits at the bottom: the whole family does the whole tour.

  • 10 zipline cables, the longest one a full-speed glide over the canopy
  • Spiral staircase around a 200-year-old Guanacaste tree
  • Monkey Jump: a rope swing from tree to tree
  • Hanging bridges between the treetops
  • Quick Flight Jump: a controlled drop for the brave (optional)
  • Howler monkeys, birds and the sounds of a living forest

  4. 4Monkey Jump and ladder bridge

Among the Espavel trees you swing from tree to tree on a rope, then cross a ladder bridge to the next platform.

Yes. Children from 2 years old can do the tour with harnesses designed for their size. If a child needs assistance, a certified guide accompanies them along the route.

How long is the tour?

About 2 hours from the briefing to the last cable, plus the ride if you book our hotel shuttle.

Is there a shuttle from Tamarindo or Flamingo?

Yes. Hotel pickup is available from Tamarindo, Flamingo, Potrero, Conchal and nearby areas. Add it when you book and our reservations team will contact you with your pickup time.

What is the Quick Flight and is it mandatory?

The Quick Flight is a controlled drop from a platform, a few seconds of free fall held by a safety device. It is optional. Most guests try it and love it; anyone can skip it.

Closed-toe shoes or sport sandals that strap to the heel. Flip-flops do not stay on in the air.

Do you take photos during the tour?

Our photographers capture photos and video at the best spots. At the end you watch everything at reception and decide, with no obligation, if you want to buy it.
